Jackson Parish – Press Release

Daniel W. Newell, District Attorney for the Second Judicial District in and for the Parish of Jackson makes the following announcement relative to disposition of cases in Jackson Parish as indicated:

4-25-18

KIMBERLY ALDY – Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months hard labor.  This sentence was suspended and she was placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

JEREMY DELRIO – Pled guilty to Simple Burglary and sentenced to 3 years hard labor with all but 6 months suspended and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The Defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

MICKEY BOX – Pled guilty to Possession Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was sentenced to 18 months hard labor and given credit for time served.

DONNEIEL D’SHAWN BROWN – Pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Attempted Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.  He was sentenced to 6 years hard labor on each count and given credit for time served.

ANGEL CERNIGLIA – Pled guilty to Simple Burglary and sentenced to 3 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

JEFF CHATHAM – Pled guilty to Aggravated Obstruction of a Highway of Commerce and sentenced to 3 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

RICKY CLIFTON – Pled guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor and given credit for time served.

KAMERON COTTONHAM – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance. and sentenced to 3 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The Defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

CASEY FERRELL – Pled no contest to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things in an amount over $1,500.00.  He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.

TABITHA FOURD – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  She was sentenced to 18 months hard labor to run concurrent with any other sentence she may be serving.  She was given credit for time served and ordered to pay fines and costs.

LARRY FROST – Pled guilty to Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

CARLOS HARRIS, JR. – Pled guilty to two counts of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling.  He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor for each count, to run concurrent with each other.    The defendant was ordered to pay restitution.

JASON LAWRENCE – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and sentenced to 2 years hard labor to run concurrent with a sentence he is presently serving.

GABRIEL MURPHY – Pled guilty to Cruelty to a Juvenile and sentenced to 1 year hard labor, suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

TIFFANY NORRED – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  She was sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

JAMES PATRICK NORRIS – Pled guilty to Unlawful Use or Possession of Body Armor.  He was sentenced to 18 months hard labor and given credit for time served.  This sentence is to run concurrently with his probation revocation sentence.

MARIO PALMER – Pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was sentenced to 4 years hard labor and given credit for time served.

STACI HINES – Pled guilty to Obtaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud.  She was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.  She was ordered to pay fines and costs.

PATRICIA ANN PARDUE – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous.  She was sentenced to 18 months hard labor. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

KATHY PEEL – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous and sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

HEATHER PERKINS – Pled guilty to Possession of Legend Drug and sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The Defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

RHONDA PITTMAN – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

LAVEITRA ROBINSON – Pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance.  She was sentenced to 3 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

KYLE SANDERS – Pled guilty to Cruelty to a Juvenile and sentenced to 1 year hard labor to run concurrently with a sentence he is presently serving.

KRISTINE WOODALL – Pled guilty Under Article 893 to Possession of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  She was sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

RICHARD WRIGHT – Pled guilty to Simple Burglary and sentenced to 3 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

GARRETT KENT – Pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle upon a Peace Officer.  The defendant was sentenced to 18 months hard labor, suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.  The defendant was ordered to pay fines and costs.

BRADLEY ROBINSON – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was sentenced to 1 year hard labor, suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.  He was ordered to pay fines and costs.

TEMERIA JEFFERSON – Pled guilty to Hit and Run with Serious Bodily Injury and Negligent Injury.  She was sentenced to 4 years hard labor, suspended, and placed on 4 years supervised probation.  She was ordered to pay restitution to the victim.

DUSTIN LEBRUN – Pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor to run concurrent with any other sentence he may be serving.

STEVEN SMITH – Pled guilty to seven counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.  He was sentenced to 8 years hard labor for each county to run concurrent with each other. The defendant was given credit for time served.

MONTY PAGE – Pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 4 years hard labor and given credit for time served.

LADARIUS BELION – Pled guilty to Introduction of Contraband in a State Correctional Institution.  He was sentenced 2 years hard labor to run concurrent with the sentence he is currently serving.
